What products do you use?

I use a wide range of products, my favourite go to brands are Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Nudestix, Fenty, Beauty Pie, Urban Decay, Laura Mercier, Chanel, NYX, a variety of drug store brands and many many more.

What can I expect on the morning of my wedding?

I will have sent you a full schedule of timings prior to your wedding date.

On the morning, I will arrive 15-30 mins before getting started, to set up my kit in the best space with lots of natural light.

I will then get started on your Bridal Party, ending with the Bride. Leaving around one hour at the end allowing you time to get changed, then I stay till you leave to apply lipstick, finishing touches and add in any hair accessories.

When should I wash my hair before my trial/wedding?

It is best to wash your hair the evening before your wedding or the morning of. For the best results, shampoo twice to really get in there and break up any built up of product and dirt. Then use minimal conditioner through your ends. Please also ask your Bridal party to do the same.

What style of hair and makeup do you specialise in?

I am so passionate about making you feel as comfortable as possible for your wedding day. I want you to look and feel like yourself, just on the best day possible. Natural, effortless and timeless is my ethos.

Do I have to pay a deposit before the trial?

Due to popular demand, a deposit is required to secure me for your wedding date.

What can I expect from my trial?

Trials usually last around 2 hours. They are the perfect opportunity for you to try as many different looks to find the perfect one that suits and compliments you best.

We will discuss your ideas, it is always handy to have some inspo photos ready (what would we do without Pinterest!) We will discuss your usual hair and makeup routine so I can establish what your style is and what your comfort levels are. Then we will get started with the styling.

It is best to wear a top that is the same colour and has the same neckline as your wedding outfit for your trial, so you can visualise the whole look.

When looking for inspiration photos, always try and find unedited photos and styles that are of someone with the same skin tone, hair type and colour as yourself so you will best be able to visualise what the style might look like on yourself.

How do I ensure my trial is successful?

It is really important to ensure the style you are after aligns with the style of your chosen artist.

At the trial, you will be able to talk to your artist about your desired style, skin type and hair type. This is a great opportunity to let your artist know if there is anything you absolutely do not want and anything that is a must, try different style’s to find the right one that works for you and then let you artist know of any tweaks and changes that you might want. The trial is there to ensure you are totally happy and feel confident with your hair and makeup.
